I want to swap it out of my cracked glove box door and into my not cracked glove box door. How does it come out? Nothing in the service manual or body manual.

It's not as easy as the page makes it look...LOL. Took me a few try's. There is also a nut on the back that you can remove & the whole assembly will come out, not just the cylinder. It's hard to get the right tool though because of the shape of the back of the lock assembly.

A locksmith can prob cut one for you if you get a blank. Sometimes the good hardware stores have them. Ive seen a "plumbers" socket at Sears, they are usually large diameters and have cut outs & they're cheap. You may have to modify the opening a bit to fit around the cylinder holder. If I didn't get it out how the web site said, that would have been the next step.

Anytime Anthony. Glad it worked out for you....did the tiny little slot guides fall out? I forgot to tell you about those.

No nothing fell out and I had the key for the good cover so I was able to transfer over the original lock and use the original keys. I now know how a glove box lock works too.
