I've only seen rear louvers for G3 Firebirds and Camaros. I have seen a few side window louvers. There's one for the 73 Lemans now on fleabay. Do you have a picture of what you are looking for? Were these aftermarkets or GM options for the 442?

I thought the windows were the same across the G3 A bodies. Have you tried to see if another A body's louvers would fit? I mentioned months ago a listing for louvers from a Pontiac Lemans. I just don't think many Chevelles were equipped this way.

Not even. The rear window for the Monte Carlo is a two-piece design with a pronounced angle down the center.

Is it just the side windows that interchange? The A body window mechanisms all interchange I thought. Anyway the issue is not the replacement of the window but the addition of the louvers. If the overall dimensions are high similar maybe something from another model could be easily adapted. My anecdotal info may be way off but I only remember occasionally seeing louvers on non-Chevy A bodies. And posters above seem to think it very rare for Chevys so ...

Not only are they made of unobtainium, they're as rare as hen's teeth.

This may be the sort of thing where if it's mission critical to you, you may have to have them fabricated or fabricate them yourself.

I totally agree with the second sentence but RocketQueene has been asking for an extended period so it sounds like it is something they really want rather than need. Back when RocketQueene first asked I looked on fleabay and saw a couple of listings for louvers from Pontiacs. Obviously not many people went this route but it looks like as unobtainium goes it applies to Chevys more severely than the other lines. Unfortunately no one is piping up who actually tried to adapt the louvers but I would be curious about that. Anyway I think Rocketqueene would need to become more proactive as it doesn't seem at all likely that someone will PM them selling a pristine set.
