So I haven't come up with a cool name for my project car, but I actually got to working on tearing her apart this weekend. (Thanks guys for the help with the headlights. It was 7/16" speed screws. I just couldn't see where they were.) So here's how far I've gotten:

Well, I think my next step is gonna be to get the engine out, then windows, doors, and hopefully get the body off the frame and get them soda/sand blasted to see just how bad the rust is. I was actually surprised the fenders are only rusted on the bottom edge by the doors, and inside the E.C. where the battery sits has pretty much rotted out. Not too much to worry about because it's inside. It's gonna need new floor and trunk pans, and the bottom of the doors will probably have to get redone. Pretty much all of the sheet metal has rust on the bottom from sitting in 3 foot grass for a few years. The engine still runs, but I want to rebuild it and clean things up a bit. Possibly upgrade it, but I have to save up for all of this. I can only do a little at a time due to a limited budget and time.

It would really fit if it sounded beefy when done.

LMAO Indy! Yeah, that's what he should name it alright.

Workrdan, going off your screenname & the fact the you're on a tight budget, I think you should go themed here like "Project Po Boy" or "Workin' Man's Blues" or something along those lines. I could probably think of more, but I'm tired from all the mowing I did today on top of loading up a Chevelle with BlackChevelleSS. Right about now, it's beer:30. drunken

Go with the blue balls name. Let's keep in mind the time, money, and love your going to put into the car. If you've got a lady, brother, prepare for the blue balls. It's either the car or the nookie. Until your done, at least! Then change the name to "no more blue balls!"
