Where to find clutch rod boot for 73-77 chevelle???
I've looked around but maybe just not hard enough. Looking for a clutch rod boot for my 76 laguna. Where it goes through the firewall. Got the ac up and working again and sick of the hot engine air coming through the firewall. lol Anyone know where to find one? Thanks a million.

You wont find a factory one (I've done 3 worldwide searches). But when your not a factory manual you can use a 70-81 camaro firewall boot. Looks the same as factory but smaller. Just dont make a big hole in the firewall. The camaro one will not cover a factory clutch rod hole.

Ok, just took some measurements for you. Factory hole in the firewall is 2 inches in diameter. Boot uses 2 bolts to mount it. Factory boot has 3 1/2" bolt spacing. Camaro boot uses 2 1/2" bolt spacing.

That's great! Summit sells one for 12 bucks, so looks like I'm in business! I measured the hole in my firewall and it measured between 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" diameter, so sounds like it should cover it no problem. Thanks for the help! It'll be great to finally have the cockpit sealed off. Just in time for this July heat.
