Thanks guys! I made my own brake lines, just used 3/16 and 1/4 steel brake line, nothing fancy, painted them rattle can silver, call it done. No mirrors going under this car!

Looks like my body bushings came from Ground Up, excited cause the body will be able to go back on the frame as soon as I get it coated underneath.

Have you ever used the ez bend line (made by s.u.r.&r)? You will never want to use regular steel line again.

Yes, it's called copper/nickel here, also used that armour covered line as well, the steel flared super easily and bent nicely, the stuff they make nowadays (as far as brake line)is far better to work with than the stuff 20 years ago! I like all of them for various applications. The quality of the flaring tool you use helps as well. The parts store cheapo ones aren't as good as a quality brand name one.

The plastic fuel line is the cats A$$ also. I made a plastic line from the fuel pump to the carb with quick disconnects at either end. Also I have a late model fuel injection fuel filter instead of the paper pos factory one

Nice, plastic is the way it's going. I ended up getting 1/2 aluminum fuel line, from the tank to the inline filter and -6 to the carb. Just have to order a sender for the tank.

Nice, are you going to paint the firewall black or body color? My vote is for body color.

LOL. I'm glad you're with me on that decision, I'm going to paint it body color.....black... Just kidding, it's all been black for 20 plus years. I'm going with the original burgundy color. I think I've finally decided on everything under the hood being body color. The hood hinges will be chrome powder-coated, then still not sure about;
1-Wheel houses
2-Master cylinder
3-Brake booster
4-Gas tank
So, thoughts on those.....

Master cylinder and booster (even the gas tank) look nice in a grey color IMHO. I would probably do the wheel houses (compartment side) body color, tire side black.

You are really busy !! So what is the name of the burgundy color you are gonna use ? Is it a '76 color?

W37, Looks like GM calls it Mahogany....although the color sheet doesn't do justice to the actual color.

Anyone have a part number listing or image if where the body mount bushings go on the frame? The bushings I have are factory GM, with the steel sleeves. And washer inserts. Apparently it looks as though some are different than others. I'll take some pics tonite after work. I checked the manuals and they don't give where each part number goes specifically on the frame.

I had two different sizes in my kit from OPGI ('72 chevelle convertible). The smaller diameter ones went on the back of the frame for the trunk. The others went in all the other holes and the radiator support. The one without a bolt hole went on top of the frame above the rear wheel wells.

Thanks guys, looks like that's what I need, I called our GM parts guy that we deal with and it looks like with the info that he gave me and what everyone posted I'll be set!! The bushings were so deteriorated when I took the car apart that they just fell apart into nothing. Just wanted to be sure that they go in their perspective location.

Gas tank is painted....be a shame to put gas in it, probably spill all over! At least it's base clear so it should hold up well!
