I've seen them with 4.8s and 5.3s swapped in. The 5 cyl is no slouch though.

lookin good.

ive been thinking of a truck to lately. my buddy has this 07 6.0 vortec max ltz he wants to sell me for 15gs (thats what dealer wants to give). its loaded with every option and has 91,000 on it.he just ordered his 2014 with everything too.

I'd love a Chevy Avalanche.  I've been hunting for a bit but none of the older ones seem to have less than 150k on the clock. Some come up here & there but the low mile ones are asking almost as much as some newer years.

This is my current work horse, Also my wifes daily driver.   Its a '08 Toyota tundra 5.7 (lets just call it a 350) 4x4.Got a new, to me, truck <a href=Got a new, to me, truck 2012-011" />
We got it two years ago, it rides better than any other 4x4 truck I've ever driven, is built better than the chevys and fords we had it the past plus it gets better gas mileage to boot.  People always compliment it, (some rag on it for being foreign) but mostly its positive.

All nice trucks there. I could use a newer truck, since my '92 Chevy rolled over 275 K miles this week. It doesn't owe me a dime though ! It needs a lot of misc work, but still does the job.
