73 ss mirror
sorry if this is in the wrong section, but on my 73 chevelle the mirror is very lose at the top, like the part that actually holds the mirror, the base that is mounted to the door is good and tight. is there a way to tighten up the top part of it and if so how, will I have to remove the door panel. thanks

Re: 73 ss mirror
Yes and yes. The upper part of the mirror is held to the base with two screws that you can only get to by removing the whole mirror assembly from the door, for which you'll have to take the upper interior door panel off to get at the two bolts that hold the base to the door.
