Good luck with this! I need to replace the front end bushings on my car sometime soon, although since I've already taken the front end on mine apart a couple times already it won't be a big mess.
What kind of a rebuild are you planning? Fairly stock, or upgrading while you're at it?

sort of moding it. im on a budget so step by step im gonna be gradually building it up but im starting off with a whole front end kit that consits of polyeurothane bushings and new ball joints,tie rods etc.

Sounds like a good plan. Just don't be like me and tell yourself you're on a budget, then buy lowering springs, boxed rear control arms, and the biggest sway bars that fit in the factory locations you can find Laughing

im not sure if this one is bigger but it probably wont twist as much and is probably lighter and stronger since is chromoly

haha i heard that...my el camino needed the suspension rebuilt since the day i got it...it took me a year and a half of driving southern californias pot hole infested freeways to finally break down and get it done...that and also almost losing control of my car during a dukes of hazard moment when i was going way too fast and didnt know the street i was on and ended up getting a pretty good amount of air.

I got mine from Summit. It's the same size and is a direct bolt in, but it would save you about 30 bucks. I've been very happy with mine so far. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-720202/

lookin at the box of parts it doesnt look so imnpossible. still waiting for upper control arm bushings, swaybar bushings and new springs. of course all had to be special ordered

www.performancesuspension.com they are here locally in phoenix so i just went over there i ended up paying about 500 bucks for the kit and springs. its 280 for the front end kit and another 180 for the springs. then like 45 bucks for taxes.they also got huge sway bars, drop spindles, big brake kits,and so much more.plus they have a lot of resources for crossreferenceing parts

Rear springs and shocks are off, coil-overs are installed. Parts are ready when you need them. Just give me a ring.
