Man Rago, if i would have found that after removing the top, I think i would have throw in the towel. looks like u would need a tetanus shot just looking at it.

I've got the passenger side i can cut off for ya. Drivers side had a perfect quarter panel on it so I just cut it off today.

rest of roof seems solid no bubling under the top. havent pulled all off yet. budman that peice from 76-77 monte? cause mine is 77 monte? and how much? cash tight. but i also know parts arent cheap. its weird the worst rust and only roof rust on passenger side

yea but fit up there first then lower part if i cant find someone with that section of roof/1/4 ill do some fab work

Sorry I guess I just assumed it was a Chevelle. I have a 77 Velle on the trailer right now that I was parting out. I will do some checkin on the Monte piece for u though.

LoL, it was a 74 Toyota Celica that I paid $100 for. I found that after removing the vinyl top & ended up cutting out everything that was rusted. Finding another 74 Celica notchback was impossible so I had to fabricate a lot of the stuff & actually had to use fiberglass sheets on some parts like they do on boats. I have a couple of after shots somewhere, I just have to find them.

you guys should have seen what my car looks like (unfortunately i dont have a camera)
i bout it from some black guy in kissimmee so they didnt take care of it althou the trunk is in perfect shape lol, but anyways at least they took the vinyl top off when they did but there are just a bunch of little holes i have to cut out and replace=[
like right under the opera window on the drivers side i have to replace that whole section
and by the roof rail on the passengers side and the whole piece that sits between the bottom of the rear window and the trunk

the main 1/4 panel part after the vinyl is in front of the rear tire really should put new qp on but A.$$$$$ b. have metal, welder, and air tools at work so may just have to patch one hole at a time. done metal fab for living in past so why not now to save a g3

That looks like mine .Both of them look like mine. There was a roof on ebay a while ago i think for 200 bucks. Keep up with it I think you can fix it . Friggin vinyl tops I like them too but this is what happens .

been thinking about covering the back opera windows and fiber glassing in the trim pannels making it more like the 70-72's any thoughts

Not a Monte, but the idea is the same. I think it looks cool with this type of roofline. OTOH....... if it were a Chevelle, I'd say no.
