Re: Found a Neat Dash Drawing
Would anyone happen to know how the vacuum line harness for the A/C, heat controls is supposed to be secured on a '73 chevelle? (item #4 in the drawing) The harness for mine is just flopping around under the dashboard. I was wondering if the harness is supposed to be somehow mounted with clips or something. I have it stuffed on top of the radio with a few zip ties to hold it. I pulled the dash out many years ago, but being young and dumb I didn't pay any attention to how it may have been secured. I have the 73 service manual. It does give a schematic but does not show how its supposed to sit behind the dash. Is there a pic in the assembly manual that someone could share? The controls all function as they should and its not hurting anything, It's just an annoyance anytime I get under the dash.
