Line Lock mounting suggestions.
Anyone have any suggestions on a mounting bracket for a Line Lock? I was originally going to hide it behind my wheel well but decided to just mount it on the brake booster. I'd like to come up with a bracket thats small and would go onto the two bolts for the master cylinder. But I'm open to suggestions. Compact would be nice. I'd like to use a factory bolt to mount it and not drill anywhere.
Open to suggestions. Thanks

Thank you. I think I made a tracing of it, if you would like a copy.

Thanks a lot, but have decided to wait until next winter to do the line lock. Just yesterday I got my ZZ502 shortblock, so now I am busy assembling that with new Straub cam, lifters and so on. will concentrait on getting the Monte on the road, since I have a lot of other stuff to do before it drives :-)

Re: Line Lock mounting suggestions.
My recommendation for an automatic car is to install the line lock in the line to the REAR wheels. That way, with your foot off the brake you hit the button, the rear wheels are loose. Now you can use your left foot to operate the brake and right foot on the gas. Then you could creep the car down the block in a slow smokey burnout. For an auto car, I think thats a better option and more fun.

I got a 4L80e, so I will definitely install it on the rear wheels, as you say, much more fun

Make sure you get the right type of solenoid for that. Some solenoids are dead stop and allow no flow. Others work as check valves and allow you to push through the solenoid valve and not flow back. I always had mine on the front brakes when I was racing.
