Anyone out there in "G3 Land" know where I might find a 1974 over flow radiator jug? I now they are a one year only, the 73 are different due to the plastic inner fenders as in '75 GM went back to metal. The '75-'77 I believe are the same. Also need the '74 Laguna type S-3 optional "Sport Roof" trim molding that separates the vinyl top from the painted area. These are also different from the 1975 and 76-they were stainless as the 74's were color keyed. -Thanks for your time and consideration in this matter- Mitch

74-77 we're all metal fenders. The jug changed 74 to 75-77??

You are correct Mitchell. The 74 overflow tank is different from the 75-77 tanks. Not sure what a 73 tank looks like. Here's a pic of one on a 74 El Camino I'm currently parting out. I believe I've already sold this one in the pic but I may have another. I'll check this weekend.

So the overflow tank is still in my 74 El Camino parts car. I'll have to remove it and make sure its not cracked anywhere. Here are some better pics. Also below is a pic of a 75-77 overflow tank for reference.

Pulled the overflow tank today and it does hold coolant. So I can assume there are no cracks or holes. The mounting tabs are good as is the cap. Here are the pics. Let me know what you think.

Good Morning, and thanks for your response. I have 3 of them but need one more that is textured. I believe the 74 and 75 cars were textured, and the 76 cars were stainless, I have 2 stainless ones. Let me know if you have a textured one. Also, would like to send you 2 free DVDs on the 73/74 Chevrolet cars, thanks Mitch

Thank you for your response, can you tell me which was sold? If it was the stainless instead of the textured, I won't feel so bad. I need a textured, have two stainless.
