This is a pic from last week.  The wheels & tires on it are just on there during the resto.  I have new OEM type rally wheels.a pic from last week P1011744_zpscrw2qk0a

I'm gonna use the rallys that are like the '77 Elco I bought new, which are quite common on the Malibu etc,
like these, on my Malibu....
I bought some new ones, Wheel Vintiques from Summit..

I'll likely have it on the road a bit when I get insurance etc.  Hagerty (sp)  quoted a policy, but I may check other companies also...like Grundy etc...
Since I have a pickup, and a Buick, the Elco may not get driven a whole lot, except on weekends for fun time.

Would like to see how it performs of course !
An aircraft mechanic friend has an alignment set, so he will adjust the front end.

Those poly bushings are squeaky, so I may devise a way to lube them.  The lube that came with them didn't do the job very well...

Here's the engine, which I believe kinda looks like it was built that way !  I tell people who stop in that it's just a 305 with a new paint job !  Some wouldn't know the difference anyway ! sunny

For the poly bushings, I use Super Lube with teflon. Never had them squeaking.
I have insurance with JC Taylor. Might want to give them a look as well. https://www.jctaylor.com/

Thanks Joe, I''l check them out ! Very Happy

I'll likely have to remove the drive shaft & get it balanced. It's one I built myself, to match the TH400 with the Ford 9-inch flange etc. Wont know how it is until I get it on the road of course.
