Im interested to see a t56 in there, I have a feeling it will definitely require some cutting though, as the t56 looks even chunkier than the 80e. https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic-transmission/1595071-side-side-picture-4l80-t56.html
These are the motor mount adapter plates Ive used on 3 different LS swapped cars (both my 67 & 73, and my brothers gf's 71 c10) with no issues, 1" setback plates , and if you dont need/want the 1" setback he has regular ones too, right here

Yeah I am ready to cut the floor out. I think I’m going to go with the dirty dingo slider mounts to get it where I want

Re: My 73 Chevelle turbo LS swap
When it was NA did you use the stock truck exhaust manifolds?

I had to use fbody manifolds. The truck manifolds fit fine on the drivers side, but ran into the frame on the passenger side. The fbody ones fit fine on both sides other than one stud on the pass side that needs to be replaced with a nut and bolt so it doesnt hit the frame.
Heres the fbody manifolds
Can see where the stud is against the frame on the pass side, I had to replace that one with a nut and bolt.
Plenty of room on the drivers side

Re: My 73 Chevelle turbo LS swap
Picked up a 130k mile 6.0 from an '06 Escalade over the weekend so the 4.8 will be replaced with the 6.0 over the winter.
Just need to buy a couple things for it 1st (valve springs and a few other small items) already have a decent size cam for it https://www.liljohnsmotorsports.com/stage-ii-turbo-cam-226-231-605-598-113-4.html
