FRONT TIRE SIZE Empty FRONT TIRE SIZE

Hay all just wanting to know if running a 17X8 whats the back spaceing need for these?Going to run a big break setup later but wanting to get wheels and tires first.Having a problem with height sence the person i bought the car from put in a big block and keep the small block spring in it sits really low? I am wanting to drop the back 2 inches but doint know about the front any help may be some pic of you rides to help me out. ps anybody know if spoilersbyrandy is still active? no luck with getting a hold of him.. thanks

I think my 17x7 front rims were 3 1/2 inch backset and my 17x8 back rims were 4 inch backset. , it's been quite a while since I bought them. I heard Randy is still around and is hard to get ahold of. JB

Your backspacing can change if you're going with bigger brakes. For instance, Baer Brakes will throw you off by 1/8". Something to keep in mind....
