Re: baldwin motion
I like the car. It's a real piece of history as it's the only G3 car to have gone through "Baldwin Motion". It was also the most expensive Chevelle build they ever did. It's a 427 L-88, stage 3 with a Muncie & a Hone overdrive & 4:88 gears. It has a huge laundry list of performance tweaks & other upgrades. I don't think the Ebay seller is really putting a lot of effort into this listing. I think he's trying to generate interest & exposure for the car. I doubt it will sell but who knows. What's it worth? Depends on who's buying.
The 1st owner (Dr. Charles Crane) took delivery on March 30, 1973 & paid over $12,000 for it. In today's money that has the same buying power as $64,828 (with inflation adjustment over the past 40 years at 4.31%). I hope it will eventually go to a good home.
