funny you should mention the stance,i was going to measure it today and forgot cuz of rain. im curious on how far down it will be after reinstalation of everything. i tried the other panels,but just did not like it. the wife talked me into it,she said i was over thinking.....

well the painter got behind,and monte did not go into shop till july 18. almost 2 months past due date.GRrr.....

Vinyl tops & rust seem to go hand in hand on all these cars. Are you reinstalling the landau top or going commando?

So what color is it gonna be? Also are you gonna make the top a contrasting color? I always liked the contrasting colors that compliment each other.

back in the early 90s i had one that was blue with full white top and blue interior.. never had another one the same color.
the headlight buckets are off that car.

so its gonna kinda be a tribute.but am keeping with the original half black top and black bucket interior.

That medium shade of blue? That looks great w/ black.

If I ever have a Monte (someday hopefully) I'd like a white one with black top & interior.

btw-you did a great job on the 76.

Still waiting to get the intake/carb back on it. After that I need to fire it up and get it out of the back yard. It needs a timing gear/chain. I'm not sure what to do with it yet. Having 3 Montes that all need some love is a bit much for me with the house mortgage. If I could find the right buyer, I'd let her go and put that into the other two. We'll see.

My body man,if he isn't dead by now, would take 6 months to do a job because he would do his profit making on insurance work and do my work on the side when he was not busy. At least he would DO non-insurance rehabs. He weighes/weighted 400 pounds. JB
