pulling a steering wheel
I want to pull my factory steering wheel and put a different one on. I've never done this, and I know I need to get ahold of a puller to remove it. Anybody have any tips, or words of advice before I start this little project?
Thanks in advance!

dont pry on it to hard for you damage the threads, if it doesnt come easy something is not loosened up and check for tight spots

Re: pulling a steering wheel
pull center nut and pull hard, if it dont come off go rent a steering wheel puller, itll come off in seconds with that. itll take longer to figure out how to put it together.
ORRRR Take the center nut off and go out on the street and floor it and hang on, itll probably come off LOL

Hey....I like your second idea better, either the wheel comes off or I rip the seat out of the floor!

Re: pulling a steering wheel
Make sure you take a good long constant look down the puller to make sure it's straight... this will keep your chin in the direct path of the flying puller when it knuckles off the wheel and hurdles toward the back window. You wouldn't want to break your back window would you?
