Rearend
Will a late 70's early 80's Z28 rearend differential gears and posi swap into my 77 sprint housing???

as long as its an 8.5 10 bolt im sure it will

You have to make SURE that its a 8.5 inch 10 bolt tho. JB

X2 on the 8 1/2" housing. Camaros and Firebirds with small engines likely had the 7 1/2" rear. I had an '80 and an '86, but didn't pay much attention to the rear end size.........

I'm not 100% sure, but I want to say that all 2nd gen Camaros after 71 had 8.5 rears. Problem is gearing. Z/28 or T/A would be your best bet since most of them have 3.42/3.73 gears & posi. Regular Camaros could have worse gears than what you already have.
