Headers? no (shorty). Crossmember? occasionally. But that's the price to get the look . Gotta look far down the road and look for possible hazards.

Beautiful!!! I think that is one of the prettiest cars ever made and it is extremely hard to beat a good high glioss black. I do not like the looks of the roof directly above the front seats. JB

I made my own color by adding tints til I got the color I was looking for. Mostly greens & blues. I have Dupont Chromabase mixing system, so it makes it easier.

This one's available for basically what the parts cost to rebuild it.

Word of advice to anyone building a car, Save your receipts , but never total them up.

it kind of looks like a Landau on a Laguna.
I kind of like it because it gives the car a different look.its like having a breaking point or another direction to look at it.

The landau top was originally on this car, but water was trapped under it for a long time back in the 80's. The roof basically looked like a 3 foot round lace doily. I sandblasted & fiberglassed what I could. I was planning on leaving the top off, but after paint when the car was out in the sunlight, the areas where I had filled would expand, and made it look like the roof had the hives. The only alternatives to make it acceptable were to either re-install the top (this time with Hartz cloth and to somewhat match the new color) or cut the roof off and replace it with a donor roof. Needless to say, it was alot easier to just re-install the landau top.

As for the taillights, Back when I had received the car in 1988, I had started to work on it. My Idea at the time was all about customizing. I fabbed up some sheet metal panels to mount Corvette ZR1 taillights to a brand new rear finish panel. The car sat after I got the initial bodywork done for 15 years or so while other projects got my attention, and I bought the shop I was working at as well as starting a family. A few years ago I decided to finish the laguna, and looked at the tail panel as the one thing that probably wasn't the best idea, so I chipped off the fiberglass I had used to bond the steel panels to the plastic, fixed what cutting I had done to the finish panel and reused the original taillights.

Front : McHaughy's 2 inch drop spindles, QA1 economy coil overs w/ the big springs. Rear 3 inch drop springs from original parts group. Powerslot front rotors for visual effect with smoothed and painted stock rebuilt calipers. Drums in the rear.

YOUR ANSWER TO THE TAIL LIGHT PANEL PICS

FROM HIS WORDS

I fabbed up some sheet metal panels to mount Corvette ZR1 taillights to a brand new rear finish panel. The car sat after I got the initial bodywork done for 15 years or so while other projects got my attention, and I bought the shop I was working at as well as starting a family.
