Re: need help with trunk seal
Start it in the middle nearest the trunk lock opening, add an adhesive around the edge (some guys don' think adhesive is necessary-DUH) work the weatherstripping around to where it fits well, not too tight not too loose, go all the way around til the ends meet, check the fit, check it again, then cut off the excess. Close the old trunk lid and give the adhesive plenty of time to dry before opening the trunk. I don't know if your car has a "channel", but if so you may need something flat (a spoon works , believe it or not) to work the weatherstripping into it.
Not hard, but if the fit is too loose or too tight, you'll be doing it again very soon. DON"T open the trunk too soon or you'll pull it loose if it sticks.

Old credit car or plastic scraper works good too for pushing the rubber in the channel

I've found that masking tape is helpful in the corners too. Sometimes they pull up.
