10 bolt proper positraction application?
I have a stock 10 bolt rear with non-posi 2.73 gears, looking at 4.11 posi for it, who would be the best to get it from and what do i need? they show 28spline and 30spline and so on but i dont know what i have or how to find out. was thinking of getting Eaton LSD are they good for our cars?

You have 28 spline axles. Eatons are good.

The rearend in a 73-77 a body uses a 8.5 inch ring gear and 28 spline axles.
If your looking for a used posi carrier
A 2nd gen camaro/ firebird uses a 8.5 carrier also 72 up novas.
Just make sure that it's a 3 series carrier. (2.73 and up gear ratio).
In my personal opinion i would go with a 3.73 gear ratio if your using a 295/50/15 tire because the tire is real short and the 4.11's will suck for street driving especially on the highway.
I now there's alot more factors in picking the right gear ratio for your engine/trans combo but if the car is going to see more street use then strip i would go with 3.73.
