That's a nice looking wagon and the paint color is refreshing. I have to believe that will sell easily even though it's a wagon.

Not so sure it will be a quick sale even at $7K. G3's just don't seem to be drawing much attention around this area (MN); especially, if they have typical MN rust issues. They've already lowered the price from $9K. I noticed in the photos there is another '73 Malibu wagon and a '73 coupe. Don't see them for sale on local Facebook Marketplace...but, maybe they've been sold.

I was just going by the 454 SS with the expensive options too. But yes the level of rust would be important.

Part of the issue in the Midwest is that I think these cars were quite common there. As I have noted on the East Coast, Olds and Pontiacs were much more common and the Chevys were limited to Novas Corvettes and an occasional Monte Carlo. Even my Belle was a Tennessee car transplanted East. But the last 5 years I am getting more and more comments about the car here. Just the other day at the gas station a young guy with a 2012 Camaro was really enthused over it and even women have commented about it. So maybe it is just your neck of the woods that is blase.

As I've mentioned before, I get lots of thumbs up and people telling me how cool my Monte is. Many fond memories of how they or someone close to them had one back in the day. But, it just doesn't seem to carry over to people actually wanting to buy one.

I get fairly frequent offers, sometimes aggressively so. Of course some just want me to gift them the car because "they will take care of it" haha.
