Yeah, I've always had a very soft spot in my heart for those suicide door Lincolns. My dad bought one long ago when I was about 3-4 years old. I loved that old tank and would love to have another.

In one of the page 1 pics you're in front of a gas station....4.79 (Euros?) per liter of gas for 98 OCTANE? & you have 95 octane there also? Is this right or is the gas blended there w/ something?

1 US gallon = 3.79 liters, so that's $18.15 PER GALLON?????????? And I'm cursing about $3.50 gallon...OMG.

I'm in Poland, which is not part of the Euro monetary union, and Poland uses its own currency called the zloty. Right now it's running about 3-3.20 zloty to $1, and the prices are in zloty per liter. So gas (95 octane over here corresponds to 87 over there; 98 over here is roughly 91/92 octane over there) generally runs between $7-10/gallon, depending on exchange rate. Shell also sells a 100 octane (which would be about 94 octane over there?) which costs $9/gallon right now and I usually put this into the Monte. It seems to like the higher octane better. Yes, it's hella-expensive!!! But I don't drive all that much (not my daily driver - just my around town fun car). And when I hammer it (usually the case!) it gets a whopping 4-6 mpg.
