Non g3 spoiler question
My nephew just bought a Chevy Cobalt and for some reason it is missing the factory spoiler. I found one at local pick n pull. Does anyone know what the foam type adhesive is that goes in between the spoiler and the deck. The spoiler is bolted on so I’m guessing it is a water seal. Thanks

Re: Non g3 spoiler question
I'm sure the car manufacturers use the cheapest stuff available...but, you want a closed cell neoprene or vinyl sponge with pressure sensitive adhesive on at least one side. Maybe 1/16" thk.

My impala SS spoiler has the same. I believe you can order from GM the gasket material to install. I believe it also has rubber grommets where studs go through...
