Manual to electric window
I put manual window doors on my car (better shape) but i want to keep it electric power window. I try to swap it today but the bolts pattern was not the same. I make 2 news holes in the door on the motor side to keep it in the closer position than the manual one. The window work great but around 2 inch high miss to close it properly.
I see that the mechanism was not really the same between the manual than the electric. I think i have to bolt everything higher in the door?
Someone try that kind of swap?

Thanks

Re: Manual to electric window
The power window regulator does bolt up in a slightly different position. The only mount location that remains the same is the top rear. The 3 other mount locations move down. Blue represents the original mount locations for the manual regulator and the orange represents the power window regulator. Here is a pic for reference.
