A/C question
Can I take out the AC unit on the firewall and the compressor and all the fitting and lines and still have a functioning heater? My AC is broken and it looks ugly under the hood and I'm building a new motor I don't want hidden under all those lines and compressor.

Re: A/C question
Technically you should be able to, since the heater and A/C cores are separate. However, the wiring for both systems is intermixed in the same harness, and you'd have to be sure to seal up all the firewall penetrations when you remove the A/C housing, as well as the unused vacuum control lines...

AC housing
Hole in firewall is larger under AC housing vs a non-AC car heater box.
