Hi...am getting ready to change my roof rail gasket...on both sides those small guide at the top of the roof rail are going to fall apart as soon as I touch them...anyone have some...thks...Dave...

Hi Dave !
Are you referring to the roof rail weather strips ?? Does your roof rail have the stainless steel drip moldings on there ?
I believe the Classics had them but the standard models didn't..

When I did my '75 Elco ( base model )I used the roof drip rails from a classic. Cleaning the rubber/glue etc from those was a real challenge ! But it all came out OK. And there is a rubber strip above those drip rails, which about 1/16" thick and about 1 inch wide, to seal the drip rails to the body, if you have to get that far into it. My roof rail weather strips came from Softseal, but there are other brands that are OK too, and they are attached to the drip rails if you have them.
