front sway bar
Is there a bigger than the stock 7/8" sway bar on other GM cars, to fit my '75 Elco, and my '74 Malibu ?? I suspect the even a 1 1/8" would be better than the small diameter stock piece..
Or, should I just get a new one ? Thought about a 1 1/4" bar also..

Second gen Camaro 70-81 and 2nd gen 70-81 Firebird both used an 1 1/4" sway bar. They came on the Z28 and Trans Am with the WS6 suspension package. I use that on my 75 Malibu.

Re: front sway bar
The z28 came with 1 1/8" and the trans am way came with 1 1/4" bars from what I've seen. Either will work.

Re: front sway bar
Thanks for correcting me joe. I was always under the impression that the Z28 came with the 1 1/4" sway bar. I guess I learned something new today.
Pila, I am very satisfied with my upgrade indeed.

Re: front sway bar
No problem at all. I'm not looking to correct anyone. Just posting up things I've come upon over the years. My buddy had a Z28 and we happened to measure it years ago and it matched my chevelle bar.

I like to be as correct as possible with things Joe. The one thing that I dislike are people that give incorrect information. If I ever say something that's not correct, feel free to tell me so. I won't take offence to it.
How's the build going?
