W/S wiper arm

W/S wiper arm
The driver's side wiper on my Elco is rubbing on the hood, on the trim molding. Turns out that the part of the arm that goes over the splined hub is stretched/wallowed out. It's pot-metal & soft, and likely easy for it to get wallowed out. Any one have one to sell ? It doesn't look like a simple fix, to shrink the splined hole smaller, but I may try......

Re: W/S wiper arm
I ran into the same problem back in the 80s. I remember using some very thin sheet aluminum. Very thin, kind of like paper. Put it over the splined stud on the car, align the wiper arm, and use a rubber mallet to gently tap the arm back on. Worked for a long time.

I've got a few spares I could closely inspect, too...if interested.
