power steering fluid
Hello - Just got my car out of storage....yea I know it's late but we have a short season up here. Last fall while I was juggling it around in the storage unit I had to crank the steering without it running. I noticed a pool of power steering fluid right after I did this. Fast forward to spring, I checked the reservoir but the hot level is good but the steering seems to act weird....catches a bit and loose! There was quite a bit of fluid under the car so I am wondering where it came from as I can't seem to find any leaks now. Would it have an air lock or something? Anyone experience this? Thanx

Re: power steering fluid
While I've never had this problem on a GM. Fords will build pressure & overflow if the wheel is cranked w/o the engine running. Hope this helps.
