alternator
Hi - just checking to see what alternator should have been on my car (p/n). I haven't got the car out of storage yet but I think it had an aftermarket unit on it. Just looking for something close to my build date of Nov/72. Thanx

Re: alternator
1970 - 1975 Chevrolet By the Numbers book says on 1100934 for 1973 Chevelle V8 (37 amp) or 1100542 for a v8 Chevelle with a/c (63 amp). My 73 ss 350 no. A/c was built in Sept. 72 and I have the original alternator. I'll check what part number it is

Re: alternator
Yes I just confirmed on my alternator in my garage, the original to my car is in fact 1100934 part number 37amp since my car is non a/c. Took a pic but it's on my phone and I'm not at my computer.
