It's the Great Pumpkin Rally!
THE GREAT PUMPKIN RALLY -- 27 October 2012
The fifth event in our championship series will begin at Fiat of McKinney, and end at the Festival of Pumpkins in Paris, Texas. This will be a fun drive in the country, with some light-hearted competition along the way. This road rally event, run at legal speeds in your own car, will not get you lost, but will show you some pretty roads in North Texas counties that you may not have known about. Just bring yourself, a partner to drive or navigate, a full tank of gas, and a pencil.
You are invited to partake of the festivities and fun at the end in Paris.
Online registration at MotorsportReg.com is required, because you will be mailed the rally rules a few days before the event.

Re: It's the Great Pumpkin Rally!
The fun is in solving some puzzles along the way. We graphed the elapsed time of the cars vs. their score, and the faster you go, the worse you score. Of course, you have to get to the end in a certain amount of time, so you can't go TOO slowly. You might even have to pay attention to how many miles you have left to go, in how much time. A skill you might not have practiced. Don't worry, there are trophies for the Best First Timers, and more for the Best Novices. Besides, you can have lots of fun on a 35mph corner where the speed limit is 55, right?

the rally's that they put on, make for a work out on winding roads. I'll be doing this one with my big ol green sedan. The last one I did with this group I did in the Exploder, and the first one with the 77.
