Reproduction Halibrands for CHEAP!
http://www.jdwheels.com/halibrand_replica.htm
If anyone knows how the quality is, let me know. I just ran across these & figured I'd post them up since there are some fans of vintage wheels on here. Sorry Limey, the 10" wheel only comes in a 4" BS.
Same place has these interesting looking Ion wheels:

Considering that 15x12's fit with 5.5" BS, I wonder how these 15x10's would look since they have 4" BS? Personally I feel that both sets are nice & not many others are out there that look this cool for this price.

AIR SHOCKS! LoL, nevermind.
I know yours stick out, but how did 5" BS on a 12" wheel = this?
That's 7" out front compared to the 6" that a 10" wheel with 4" BS would give.

It's not just the rim offset that is the problem. Notice the rubber bands for tires on Tony's car vs. the balloons on Limey's and mine for that matter. The sidewall "bulge" is what creates interference. Tony's sidewall is almost straight up from the rim while the smaller diameter rims have tire sidewalls that stick out an extra inch or so.

I realize his was custom made, but 12" wide with 5" of backspacing doesn't seem too hard to accomplish.
Bigred, I never thought about sidewall bulge. That makes more sense to me now.
