Pulling the body off the frame
Ok, so I'm really tempted to pull the body off of my frame so I can sand and paint the frame. I am looking to just jack up the body and pull the frame out from underneath and rest the body on cement blocks. 1st, how much does the body weigh by itself? 2nd, where is the best place to put the supports underneath without damaging the body? 3rd, the engine and tranny are pulled, the front fenders are off along with the hood, what other things need to be disconnected to lift it off the frame?
